Amy Marshall was born in Richmond, Virginia. She is a graduate of Atlantic Christian College, Wilson, North Carolina where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2003. During her studies, Amy worked as a Registered Nurse in the cardiac department at Flowers Hospital. Her advanced training also includes cardiac rehab at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Albany, Georgia; and nursing in the neurology department at Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville, North Carolina.
Amy is licensed as a registered nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing and certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is authorized for Advanced Practice Nursing by the Alabama Board of Nursing and approved for Collaborative Practice with Jeffery M. Tamburin, M.D. she joined Dothan Pediatric Clinic providing pediatric patient care in the summer of 2004. Amy enjoys encouraging parents and teaching pediatric patients how to live in a healthy way, while they remind her to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, David, and spending time in Auburn with their daughter, Sarah. She also enjoys playing the piano and listening to all genres of music.
